ABOUT MONARCHY THE LABEL

MONARCHY THE LABEL was founded by 19 year old Fashion Designer, Stylist and Photographer, Ashley Simone. This label is based in Newcastle, The Central Coast and Sydney. In addition to her volunteer work as Co-Ordinator of the Apex Australian Teenage Fashion Awards, she has also competed in many large scale fashion competitions such as The Australian Wool Fashion Awards, and AATFA respectively. At just 16 years old, Ashley was discovered by Aron Katona and was invited to showcase capsule collections in the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival (VAMFF) and the Melbourne Fringe Festival (MFF). Ashley has worked under Leon Krasenstein as an intern on the six-part ABC series 'Soul Mates' and information about that can be found here.

Ashley holds a passion for styling and fashion design, and this is evident in her dedication to her craft. 

Ashley is a confident presenter and has presented the Apex Australian Teenage Fashion Awards for 2015.
